Voting is a core part of how server lists work. It helps quality servers rise to the top and allows players to support their favorite communities. This guide explains the voting system from both player and server owner perspectives.

For Players

How to Vote

  1. Find a server you enjoy playing on
  2. Visit the server's page on our list
  3. Click the "Vote" button
  4. Complete the verification (prevents bots)
  5. Receive your in-game reward (if the server offers them)

Vote Cooldown

You can vote for each server once every 24 hours. The cooldown is tracked per-server, so you can vote for multiple different servers in the same day.

Why Votes Matter

Votes are the primary ranking factor on our server list. Servers with more recent votes appear higher in listings, leading to more visibility and more players discovering your community.

We track votes in two timeframes:

  • Monthly votes: Used for the main ranking — resets at the start of each month
  • Total votes: Lifetime count, shown as a trust indicator

Setting Up Vote Rewards

Offering rewards encourages players to vote regularly. We support the Votifier protocol, which sends vote notifications to your server.

How Votifier Works

  1. Player votes on our website
  2. We send a secure notification to your server
  3. Your server receives the player's username
  4. Your server grants the reward automatically

Configuration Steps

  1. Go to your server dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Votifier/Webhook settings
  3. Enter your server's webhook URL or Votifier details
  4. Generate or enter your public key
  5. Use our test feature to verify the connection

  • Don't make them essential: Non-voters shouldn't feel disadvantaged

  • Vote velocity: Consistent daily votes matter more than occasional bursts

Rankings update in real-time as votes come in. The monthly reset ensures new servers have a fair chance to compete with established ones.

Vote Integrity

We take vote manipulation seriously. Our system includes:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Prevents automated bot voting
  • Rate limiting: Stops mass voting from single sources
  • Pattern detection: Identifies suspicious voting behavior

Servers caught manipulating votes may be penalized or removed from the list.
