Hytale’s Official Server List Is Coming With Update 5

Hytale is getting an official in-game server discovery system, and it is a big step for players and server owners alike.

In a new official blog post published on April 28, 2026, the Hytale team confirmed that server discovery will launch with Update 5. The feature will let players browse community-run Hytale servers directly from inside the game instead of relying only on outside websites, Discord posts, or word of mouth.

What Is Hytale Server Discovery?

Server discovery is Hytale’s official in-game server list.

When it launches, players will be able to browse community servers using basic but useful information, including:

Server description
Server type
Intended audience
Supported regions
Server profile details

Players will also be able to search by server name or description and filter listings by server type, audience, and region.

For the first version, Hytale is focusing on the core discovery experience: helping players find servers they can actually join and giving communities a clear way to present themselves inside the game.

What Server Owners Can Do Now

Server operators can already begin preparing their listings through the Hytale Account Manager.

The process includes creating a server profile, filling in server details, choosing the right tags, verifying a domain if applicable, and submitting the listing for moderation.
